BRIEF  /  Choice Hotels and Whole Foods needed to visually align with National Park Foundation for strategic branded partnership.

CLIENT  /  National Park Foundation

ROLE  /  Branding

AGENCY  /  Matchfire

The National Park Foundation came to Matchfire and asked us to develop a pitch for a brand partnership campaign with two separate businesses: Choice Hotels and Whole Foods.  I immediately jumped at the opportunity.

I was asked to design potential campaign lockups for Choice Hotels, various product mockups for Whole Foods, and was able to incorporate my own photography in each.

A range of logo lockups were explored in the early stages of the pitch development for Choice Hotels under the name "Choice For Adventure." Each concept was designed to possess an unique theme and ownable visual language.

Next, Whole Foods product mockups were designed around two ideas: selling park-specific grocery tote bags as a part of a collection, and connecting specific parks to trail-mix recipes, depending on local offerings you might be able to find inside of the park itself.

I was excited not only at the opportunity to work for the National Park Foundation, but to also put a hobby to good use by including some of my own photography in both the designs above, and backgrounds that we included in the pitch decks. Some of my favorite shots that I've taken at national parks are below.
